Oporto Fooding House

Sophisticated and stylish, Oporto Fooding House is the third and latest concept by chef and owner Rick DiVirgilio, whose company also owns Oporto Cafe and the Queen Vic Pub on Richmond. The open floor plan invites you and your companions to explore the rich culinary landscape of Portugal, small plates style. Popular dishes range from the simple (bread with tomatoes) to the more exotic (octopus with potatoes). There’s a selection of cheese and charcuterie, along with a woodfired pizza oven and a raw bar, not to mention a full service bar. The restaurant is open daily beginning at 11 a.m., and serves brunch on Sundays until 3 p.m. There are no reservations unless you’re a party of six or more, but it’s worth the wait. Whether you dine alone, in a couple or with friends, there’s something for everyone.
